The second series of Leadership Development Days finished in June 2008 and, as a consequence, we now have over 400 people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, disabled people or those working in micro-enterprises working in the cultural and creative industries across the UK who:
Everybody who is selected to take part in either a Leadership Development Day or LDDplus workshop will be part of an intensive, engaging day run by facilitators with a wealth of leadership development experience in the commercial and cultural sectors. Apart from the obvious networking opportunities, each participant will gain an understanding of what modern leadership means today and how they see themselves as leaders in the future. It will identify opportunities for aspiring and established cultural leaders to really develop top-level leadership skills and competencies in a sustainable manner.
Our objectives for the Leadership Developments Days and LDDplus workshops are to:
Both workshops are designed to help participants appreciate what inspirational and authentic leadership looks like and move them on a personal development journey that is appropriate to them. The intention is to have fun, work hard and enhance the real and diverse leadership capacity in the cultural and creative industries.
